Cotton Voile is a lightweight, semi-sheer woven fabric used for our tops, shirts and dresses, giving a soft, breathable drape that's noticeably lighter than regular cotton. Our organic cotton cardigans and vests are knitted rather than woven, offering a different, cosier texture for layering.

Our cardigans and knitted vests are made from organic cotton, grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. Our Cotton Voile pieces — tops, shirts and dresses — use a lighter woven cotton chosen for its breathable, soft-draping qualities.

Cotton Voile has minimal shrinkage when cared for correctly — machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and avoid high heat in the dryer to help preserve the fabric's soft drape and reduce the risk of shrinking.

Our organic cotton knitwear is designed more for transitional layering than deep winter warmth, lighter than cashmere or merino wool, but still cosy for milder cool-weather days. Layer over a Cotton Voile top or under a heavier coat for extra warmth when needed.

Cotton Voile is a lightweight, semi-sheer woven fabric, so some styles can be slightly see-through in bright light. Check individual product descriptions for lining details, or layer with a nude cami underneath if you'd prefer extra coverage.

Both are excellent choices for hot weather — linen is slightly more breathable and moisture-wicking, while Cotton Voile offers a softer, smoother drape. The best choice often comes down to preferred texture rather than one being definitively cooler.
