Womens Cashmere - FAQ

What makes your women's cashmere worth the price?

Our cashmere is sourced from the softest undercoat of cashmere goats, giving it an exceptionally soft, lightweight and breathable feel compared to standard wool knitwear — designed as an autumn and winter essential you'll want to reach for again and again, not just an occasional treat.

Is this cashmere collection sustainably sourced?

We use up to 60% recycled cashmere where possible across our knitwear, reducing waste while maintaining the same soft, luxurious hand-feel. This blend approach lowers the environmental impact compared to conventional 100% virgin cashmere.

What styles are included in the Cashmere collection?

This collection features cashmere jumpers, cardigans and knitted pieces designed to move seamlessly from weekday to weekend wear. Styles range from lightweight fine-knit jumpers to more structured cardigans, suiting both everyday layering and slightly dressier occasions.

Can I wash cashmere at home?

Yes, hand wash in cold water with a wool-specific detergent, or dry clean if preferred, and dry flat away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid wringing or hanging wet cashmere, as this can stretch the fibres — store folded rather than on a hanger to keep its shape.

Will cashmere pill, and how do I stop it?

Some light pilling is a natural characteristic of soft natural fibres like cashmere, especially in high-friction areas like underarms. A cashmere comb or fabric shaver gently removes pills without damaging the knit, and pilling typically reduces after the first few washes and wears.

How warm is cashmere compared with wool?

Cashmere is significantly warmer than standard wool for the same weight, thanks to its fine fibre diameter and insulating structure — giving you warmth without the bulk of a heavier wool knit.

How do I store cashmere so moths do not get to it?

Store cashmere clean and folded in a breathable bag or drawer, ideally with cedar balls or lavender sachets, since moths are drawn to natural fibres and food residue left on unwashed garments. Avoid airtight plastic, which can trap moisture.
